Runga Trans cc was established in August 2005. We started off the business as transport brokers, subcontracting cargo from various customers and sourcing transporters who would cart these goods nationally. Within a year we acquired long distance vehicles of our own and so we slowly drifted away from broking. We then started specializing in the transportation of hazardous chemicals throughout the country.
We have 2 branches in Kwazulu Natal: Rossburgh (Head Office) & Pinetown; Gauteng (Boksburg) and the Western Cape (Milnerton). We currently have a staff compliment of approximately 100 and we are still growing every day, creating the much needed employment that we need to offer for our fellow South Africans.
Being haz-chem transporters, our drivers and vehicles are all fully equipped to transport chemicals of this nature. All drivers undergo the necessary hazardous chemical trainings; they have a haz-chem license and they have a dangerous goods permit (DGP). Vehicles are all fully equipped with fire extinguishers, appropriate signage as well as dangerous goods licenses and cut out switches.
